TROUBLED spirit

My heart is absolutely breaking with this news! I have been praying constantly all weekend for this child. I will simply never, NEVER be able to understand when SO many people are coming to God to intercede for someone, He allows this to happen. My tears have poured all weekend about this, and now even more so. I know, I know...life just isn't fair, but ... I'm just at a total & complete loss right now. I cannot understand what good can possible come from this, except perhaps that it will make me love my children more...and if it brought others to Christ who never believed. Please pray for this family, friends, school, and community.

  3. Hi Merana,

Like you, I've lifted this young man up in prayer; asking God for a healing. I will not profess to have any insight as to why God said no, I have no words of comfort that can be substituted for his life. I will now pray for peace and comfort as his family, friends and others grieve.

    Blessings and peace.

  5. Please let me make clear, I don't any of these people personally. I only learned about this thru Teresa @ Grammy Girlfriend. But I just took it so much to heart & fervently prayed tear-filled prayers all w/e. This just shakes you to your core.

  6. Merana,
Thank you for stopping by my blog, it is nice to meet you!
Interceding is about the only thing we can do sometimes, particularly when we don't understand the "whys", as I am certain you already know.
But God had called both of and a mutitude of others to do that, and I wanted to encourage you and let you know God will be glorified in this even though we may not know how.

    Love in Him,
    Lisa

  7. I followed your link, and I read this heartbreaking news. I can only say that I understand your feelings and your words written here.

I know in my heart that God is good. I know that He can and will bring peace to this BEAUTIFUL little family. It is at times like this that I truly understand the scripture about peace that passes understanding.

    So very heartbreaking.

  8. We may not understand life's tragedies this side of heaven but someday all the "whys" will become crystal clear when we look into the loving eyes of Jesus.
