Okay, after reading this by someone I just found on Spiritual Sundays (that I suspect we'll become fast friends), I HAD to post this one. After the boys had their best friends sleep over last nite...plenty of YouTubing, XBoxing, Apples To Apples, Twister, and the mess everywhere .....
I'm ummm....choosing....
to say "I'M THANKFUL TO HAVE A HOUSE TO CLEAN!!!", instead of "Oh dang, I gotta clean the house"!

Psalm 25:4-5
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths;
guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long (NIV)
Drench yourself in words unspoken, Live your life with arms wide open,
Today is where your book begins, The rest is still unwritten. ("Unwritten" by Natasha Beddingfield)
It matters not how long we live, but how!

Hi Merana,
ReplyDeleteThis is uncanny but all day, I've thinking about writing a post on cleaning my home. The Holy Spirit helped me see that a definite change has occurred in my attitude. I've discovered a real joy in doing things which I had nothing but disdain for in the past.
Yes, I too am thankful to have a home to clean.
Blessings and peace.

I hear you. love the twist to gratitude
ReplyDeleteMerana,
ReplyDeleteI'm so honored that you were blessed by the post. Thanks for your kind words. I'm sure we do have a lot to share. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog.
Hello, my sweet new friend. Thank you for stopping by Weezer's Haven and leaving a comment. I'll be following you from now on as a faithful blogger friend.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. I am so blessed to have found so many wonderful faith-based friends.

Love anyone that loves the game...and actually have always been a fan of Big Ben...just wish he would get his act together...Before Amanda got married she dated a guy from Pittsburg for a year so we learned a lot about the Steelers and she even went to a couple of games...and then our hometown boy Terry Bradshaw was a Steeler for a long time...But we have been Brett fans for 20 years...I get so amused at the media calling him one that loves the spotlight and they are the ones that are talking about him...He is their best story and they use him regularly....
ReplyDeleteHi Sweetness, how being thankful lifts our spirits and we do have so much to be thankful for. I'm so thankful that He reminds us ever so lovingly.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Hugs
Melly:)
